Today I wanted to tip you off to a great new find: Truck Furniture from Japan. While not available in the US yet, the buzz has already started. I heard about Truck from Paul Gelinas yesterday at breakfast. Paul, who started Lost & Found in Bejing, considers Truck “the shit.” They inspire him with their aesthetic and their smarts. Here’s the scoop.

The renovation of an Edwardian semi-detached house in Golders Green, London by AOC Architects is named after the homes new focal point — a marvelous poured-concrete hearth with a subtle herringbone pattern.
Verner Panton is known as the ‘enfant terrible’ of Danish design. Breaking away from the airy neutrals of typical Scandinavian design, Panton worked in Pop colors, simple geometries, and trippy organic shapes. His work is perfectly of its time — sexy, informal, tongue-in-cheek, space-age, and bold — while still feeling totally current today.
