“Avenue Q” started at Off-Broadway’s Vineyard Theatre, opening in March 2003. It transferred to Broadway in July 2003. It’s the first time a Broadway production has transferred to an Off-Broadway venue, according to Variety.
Tickets for the New World Stages run are on sale now for $66.50 and $86.50 (and will rise to $101.50 from December 26 through January 3.) Premium seats are $126.50.
